In this episode I chat on about my work history…well, specifically my work history between 30 and 40; those years when a person is supposed to be “most employable”. The good ‘ol “Not-To, Not-To”, meaning not-to young and not-to old. Yep. These “Not-To’s” (as these office workers were shamelessly called by their bosses) were at the perfect 10 year span to:
- Give every shred of credit for any of your work to your boss because she needs to stroke her ego
- Do not question assignment’s or mundane tasks
- Know when to stop talking and walk away
- Know that your job is so important that you may have to cancel dinner and weekend plans when need be to finish a project that is “time sensitive”
