I practiced being brave in the sky so I could learn to be braver on land.

And somewhere along the way, I became the Emo Roller Coaster Gal. But this was never really about roller coasters.

Welcome to Season 2 of Quick Before You Forget and my first-ever solo episode.

After 31 episodes spent asking other people the big questions, I realized it was time to answer some myself.

So this is the beginning of that story: from being told at 35 that I might need a liver transplant, to hearing the words “you are a miracle,” to years of making myself smaller, to finally deciding I’m done dimming my light.

We’re talking fear vs. excitement, music as a tool for changing your mindset, the Yellow Brick Road, human connection, finding your people, the birth of Emo Roller Coaster Gal, and why I believe we can build unreal lives from the ground up.

Because the roller coaster was never the point. The point is what happens when you feel the fear and get on the ride anyway.

Quick before you forget: Remember who you are while you build who you’re meant to be.

And if you’re here with me now? Hi! I'm so grateful you're here. Welcome to the Ground Crew. We’re just getting started.

WEBVTT

1
00:00:00.110 --> 00:00:02.930
I feel like I found my purpose. I found my calling.

2
00:00:02.950 --> 00:00:06.860
And the reason that it feels so right is because

3
00:00:06.919 --> 00:00:11.539
it's like people are saying it's helping them. And honestly, friends,

4
00:00:11.560 --> 00:00:35.100
that is like the whole point. This feels unreal. I

5
00:00:35.399 --> 00:00:38.189
am going to talk anyway. And it's going to be great.

6
00:00:38.350 --> 00:00:41.869
We're going to have a great time. Hello and welcome

7
00:00:42.070 --> 00:00:47.189
to Quick Before You Forget. Me? Okay, this is weird.

8
00:00:47.210 --> 00:00:51.429
Because usually I have, like, another human with me. And

9
00:00:51.689 --> 00:00:54.130
I realize now that, like, lucky you, you're the other

10
00:00:54.170 --> 00:00:57.200
human today. And I'm so grateful. I'm so excited. I'm

11
00:00:57.240 --> 00:01:02.200
so happy. I'm so, like, amped. So amped that you're here. Yeah.

12
00:01:02.939 --> 00:01:07.359
Thank you. So I got this idea. I got this

13
00:01:07.439 --> 00:01:10.030
idea for a podcast a while back called Quick Before

14
00:01:10.090 --> 00:01:14.650
I Forget. Because at 35 years old, I had a

15
00:01:14.670 --> 00:01:20.010
doctor tell me that I needed a liver transplant. That

16
00:01:20.090 --> 00:01:22.569
same doctor and a whole team of other doctors also

17
00:01:22.650 --> 00:01:26.890
told me that my brain was operating at a level

18
00:01:26.930 --> 00:01:30.969
that didn't make sense. They were surprised I could remember things.

19
00:01:31.540 --> 00:01:36.219
They were surprised that I could talk as eloquently and

20
00:01:36.269 --> 00:01:40.549
thoughtfully as I could. They kind of implied that my

21
00:01:40.650 --> 00:01:43.290
memory and all the issues that I have with my

22
00:01:43.329 --> 00:01:47.030
memory are likely related to the fact that my health

23
00:01:47.189 --> 00:01:50.409
was in the situation that my health was in. So

24
00:01:50.450 --> 00:01:53.629
I came up with this idea quick before I forget,

25
00:01:54.250 --> 00:01:56.950
because I thought maybe I could share my story and

26
00:01:56.969 --> 00:01:58.489
I thought maybe there'd be people that would want to

27
00:01:58.530 --> 00:02:03.689
listen to it. And I think that's accurate. Like, I

28
00:02:03.730 --> 00:02:07.500
think I meant to share this story because a few

29
00:02:07.530 --> 00:02:10.699
years later, so I was 35 years old when I

30
00:02:10.740 --> 00:02:15.780
was told that I needed a liver transplant. 35 years old. Like,

31
00:02:15.919 --> 00:02:19.819
just let that sink in for a second. My MELD score,

32
00:02:20.099 --> 00:02:21.860
for those of you that don't know, a MELD score

33
00:02:22.039 --> 00:02:27.159
is a model end stage liver disease score. My MELD

34
00:02:27.199 --> 00:02:29.569
score was bad enough that they thought I needed a

35
00:02:29.590 --> 00:02:34.930
liver transplant soon. At 35 years old. And now those

36
00:02:34.990 --> 00:02:38.930
same doctors at 30, I'm so bad at keeping track. See,

37
00:02:38.949 --> 00:02:41.150
this is the quick before I forget part of things.

38
00:02:41.169 --> 00:02:44.650
So I'm so bad at keeping track. So the doctors

39
00:02:44.729 --> 00:02:46.270
only a few years later, so I'm going to say

40
00:02:46.289 --> 00:02:50.889
I was 38. I think I was 38 when they said, Ty,

41
00:02:52.069 --> 00:03:00.199
I don't want to cry. Your liver is basically normal. Now, granted,

42
00:03:01.069 --> 00:03:06.699
I had lost at the time, maybe 60 pounds and

43
00:03:06.840 --> 00:03:09.520
trimmed probably at the time, like 15 inches off of

44
00:03:09.599 --> 00:03:12.620
my waist. And I was feeling alive and I was

45
00:03:12.680 --> 00:03:17.120
feeling so good. And the doctors, the same doctor, the

46
00:03:17.199 --> 00:03:20.240
same doctor that told me that I was going to

47
00:03:20.280 --> 00:03:25.860
need a liver transplant said, Ty, you are a miracle.

48
00:03:28.699 --> 00:03:32.849
You are a miracle. He said that to me and

49
00:03:33.629 --> 00:03:35.949
it was like a seed was planted in my heart

50
00:03:36.750 --> 00:03:40.430
because I am a miracle and it has been a

51
00:03:41.330 --> 00:03:44.949
hell of a bumpy ride since then. So I believe

52
00:03:45.090 --> 00:03:50.530
that I coped very poorly with my life things. I

53
00:03:50.569 --> 00:03:52.360
know it. I own it. It is what it is.

54
00:03:52.539 --> 00:03:57.419
I coped very poorly with my life. I sought refuge.

55
00:03:58.099 --> 00:04:00.509
At the bottom of a bottle of vodka I hid

56
00:04:00.550 --> 00:04:07.810
in my closet. For years. For way longer. And for

57
00:04:07.909 --> 00:04:12.490
way more than I ever possibly. I never should have

58
00:04:12.530 --> 00:04:15.689
been doing that. I never was diagnosed as an alcoholic.

59
00:04:15.729 --> 00:04:20.939
But I would drink so much vodka. It's the story

60
00:04:20.959 --> 00:04:24.959
for another day. The story for today is that I

61
00:04:25.019 --> 00:04:28.290
am here. Because I believe that I am meant to

62
00:04:28.329 --> 00:04:32.310
share my story. I believed that I was meant to

63
00:04:32.370 --> 00:04:35.629
share my story when I left the hospital that day

64
00:04:36.290 --> 00:04:39.009
and the doctor had said I was the miracle. I

65
00:04:39.069 --> 00:04:41.730
was a miracle and I am a miracle because I've

66
00:04:41.850 --> 00:04:47.040
chosen to feel the light. I have chosen to let

67
00:04:47.129 --> 00:04:52.579
the light shine from my soul into the world in

68
00:04:52.660 --> 00:04:56.910
ways that don't make sense. My life on paper doesn't

69
00:04:56.930 --> 00:05:00.860
make any sense. You have to honestly go see it.

70
00:05:01.319 --> 00:05:05.120
This is very real for me because I have very

71
00:05:05.160 --> 00:05:10.259
intentionally and thoughtfully laid out an entire life story on

72
00:05:10.300 --> 00:05:14.920
the internet. I know friends and people that haven't even

73
00:05:15.480 --> 00:05:19.420
posted once on Facebook on purpose. I'm fully opposite of that.

74
00:05:19.660 --> 00:05:24.850
I have been using social media as a very public

75
00:05:25.259 --> 00:05:29.920
Super private journal for most of my life. And maybe

76
00:05:29.959 --> 00:05:33.540
that's a symptom of being a millennial. Probably. I do

77
00:05:33.600 --> 00:05:38.199
have one too many Facebook albums that, you know, are embarrassing.

78
00:05:38.939 --> 00:05:43.439
We all do, right? But I feel like I know

79
00:05:44.240 --> 00:05:48.319
that I was meant to be sharing and documenting the

80
00:05:48.339 --> 00:05:51.660
whole journey. The ups and the downs and the twists

81
00:05:51.740 --> 00:05:56.269
and the turns and the drops. Guys. That's the emo

82
00:05:56.310 --> 00:06:00.220
rollercoaster gal. I was meant to share this with you

83
00:06:00.300 --> 00:06:02.959
because I was meant to be the light that I needed.

84
00:06:04.079 --> 00:06:08.279
I needed light and I found it. Like I, I

85
00:06:08.379 --> 00:06:11.120
found it in so much of these things that you

86
00:06:11.170 --> 00:06:17.029
see behind me in the books, in the music, in

87
00:06:17.149 --> 00:06:24.149
the lore. Okay. Everything behind me tells part of my story.

88
00:06:25.209 --> 00:06:29.509
I keep, I'm almost like I, everything behind me tells

89
00:06:29.589 --> 00:06:34.819
part of my story here and on the internet. So

90
00:06:34.839 --> 00:06:38.180
I have an idea about that. But first I need

91
00:06:38.199 --> 00:06:41.639
to pause. Are you still with me? If you're still

92
00:06:41.680 --> 00:06:45.439
with me, please comment something. Comment the most interesting thing

93
00:06:45.480 --> 00:06:48.110
that I've said so far. Because I really, I really

94
00:06:48.120 --> 00:06:49.730
want to know why am I whispering? I don't know

95
00:06:49.750 --> 00:06:56.459
why I'm whispering. I did this thing this week. It

96
00:06:56.519 --> 00:07:02.329
happened after I had spent some time with people that

97
00:07:02.350 --> 00:07:06.350
don't make sense. So without belaboring the huge long story,

98
00:07:06.449 --> 00:07:08.569
I'm going to tell you the short version, which is

99
00:07:08.589 --> 00:07:14.420
a week ago, a week ago today, actually, I was

100
00:07:14.959 --> 00:07:18.379
invited along with a dear friend of mine to go

101
00:07:18.500 --> 00:07:24.620
on an adventure that involved spending time with Chris Carrabba.

102
00:07:25.209 --> 00:07:30.850
of Dashboard Confessional, and Joe King from The Fray, Ben

103
00:07:30.889 --> 00:07:36.230
Wysocki from The Fray, and everybody, everybody from The Fray

104
00:07:36.350 --> 00:07:41.029
and Dashboard. And it happened at the Huntington Bank Pavilion

105
00:07:41.329 --> 00:07:45.050
at Northern Island in Chicago. It was like my 18,000th

106
00:07:45.110 --> 00:07:47.050
time in Chicago this year, which is a whole other

107
00:07:47.089 --> 00:07:51.930
sidebar story. But it happened in Chicago last week, and

108
00:07:52.089 --> 00:07:56.009
it felt like a turning point for me And then

109
00:07:56.050 --> 00:07:58.560
I got home and I was looking at the episodes

110
00:07:58.620 --> 00:08:01.220
that I had to share, my quick before you forget episodes.

111
00:08:01.259 --> 00:08:04.800
I was like, I had taped close, a little over

112
00:08:04.800 --> 00:08:08.459
40 episodes in the course of time. I actually started

113
00:08:08.519 --> 00:08:12.480
taping quick before you forget in like within a week

114
00:08:12.519 --> 00:08:17.019
or two of a not so great job transition that

115
00:08:17.060 --> 00:08:20.100
happened to me earlier this year. It didn't happen to me.

116
00:08:20.139 --> 00:08:23.639
It happened for me, by the way. I started taping

117
00:08:23.750 --> 00:08:29.279
quick before you forget. Earlier this year, almost immediately after

118
00:08:29.339 --> 00:08:32.379
this awful thing happened and my life flipped upside down

119
00:08:32.659 --> 00:08:34.919
for the second time in less than a year. But

120
00:08:34.960 --> 00:08:40.980
that's again, another sidebar story. I found myself feeling lost

121
00:08:41.980 --> 00:08:49.250
and also feeling like I didn't understand God's plan. And

122
00:08:49.269 --> 00:08:51.250
I like, honestly, can you relate? I feel like you

123
00:08:51.289 --> 00:08:55.970
could relate. So lost, what in God's good name is

124
00:08:56.009 --> 00:08:58.590
his plan? I don't know. I will. But you know what?

125
00:08:59.580 --> 00:09:06.039
I have surrendered it. And since then, if you don't

126
00:09:06.100 --> 00:09:08.340
know what the year of the fire horse is, go

127
00:09:08.379 --> 00:09:11.820
look it up. Go look it up. Because since the

128
00:09:11.840 --> 00:09:15.549
year of the fire horse started, my, what I call

129
00:09:15.590 --> 00:09:20.990
my yellow brick road has gotten unreal. Like it was

130
00:09:21.070 --> 00:09:25.210
unreal before granted, but it has gotten more unreal case

131
00:09:25.330 --> 00:09:30.870
and point. Last week, Saturday, I'm walking around backstage at

132
00:09:30.929 --> 00:09:35.529
a venue in Chicago with the Chris Carraba and the

133
00:09:35.870 --> 00:09:41.100
Joe King and also the Ivy Palmer, who deserves more

134
00:09:41.139 --> 00:09:43.039
than a shout out, but that's all you're getting for today.

135
00:09:43.820 --> 00:09:47.539
So I'm walking around at this venue and it was

136
00:09:47.840 --> 00:09:50.559
reflecting on that day, the following day, looking at my

137
00:09:50.620 --> 00:09:54.320
episodes of the podcast that led me here. Because I

138
00:09:54.360 --> 00:09:57.370
was looking at the episodes that I had already taped

139
00:09:57.850 --> 00:10:00.120
and I taped a bunch of them. Like I taped

140
00:10:00.129 --> 00:10:05.700
like over 40 and it was all done by like mid-May.

141
00:10:05.940 --> 00:10:08.399
So I taped like 40 episodes in a relatively short

142
00:10:08.440 --> 00:10:11.679
period of time with a bunch of abundant, kind, amazing humans.

143
00:10:12.330 --> 00:10:15.370
If you haven't looked at those episodes, this, this is

144
00:10:15.409 --> 00:10:18.129
your reminder, please quick before you forget, go look at

145
00:10:18.149 --> 00:10:20.919
all those other episodes because they're amazing. And they feature

146
00:10:20.960 --> 00:10:23.820
these humans that have these stories that lit my soul

147
00:10:23.919 --> 00:10:27.340
on fire. All right. So I was at the bottom

148
00:10:27.379 --> 00:10:29.799
of the barrel. I had like five or six episodes

149
00:10:29.840 --> 00:10:35.559
left to air and the perfect one. I stumbled on

150
00:10:35.600 --> 00:10:39.529
the perfect one for the last episode of what I

151
00:10:39.549 --> 00:10:43.370
decided in real time, because I can. was going to

152
00:10:43.409 --> 00:10:45.389
be the last episode of season one of Quick Before

153
00:10:45.409 --> 00:10:51.049
You Forget. Welcome to season two. I'm so pumped. So

154
00:10:51.110 --> 00:10:54.190
this is season two because I decided that last episode,

155
00:10:54.210 --> 00:10:56.169
there's a couple others that I'm going to need to

156
00:10:56.240 --> 00:11:00.419
re-tape because of sound issues or quality issues, but that

157
00:11:00.460 --> 00:11:04.200
was the last episode. And then I realized that like

158
00:11:04.240 --> 00:11:07.320
some of the best advice I've gotten has been to

159
00:11:07.559 --> 00:11:11.639
just do what's working. Figure out what works and And

160
00:11:11.700 --> 00:11:15.899
do more of that. So I realized that what's working

161
00:11:15.960 --> 00:11:21.830
for me in real time is the emo rollercoaster gal. Now,

162
00:11:22.070 --> 00:11:25.750
if you're new here, buckle up literally, because the emo

163
00:11:25.769 --> 00:11:29.149
rollercoaster gal is my moniker. It's if you Google it,

164
00:11:29.649 --> 00:11:32.990
it will Google emo rollercoaster gal. You'll find everything that

165
00:11:33.009 --> 00:11:36.389
I've posted in the last six months or so that

166
00:11:36.450 --> 00:11:43.879
has my rollercoaster content, which I created. synced so perfectly,

167
00:11:44.559 --> 00:11:50.279
poetically and cinematically perfectly to Taylor Swift bridges mostly. And

168
00:11:51.740 --> 00:11:54.039
it's been so fun. And I felt like, I feel

169
00:11:54.059 --> 00:11:56.679
like I found my purpose. I found my calling. And

170
00:11:56.700 --> 00:12:00.659
the reason that it feels so right is because it's

171
00:12:00.919 --> 00:12:05.169
like people are saying it's helping them. And honestly, friends,

172
00:12:05.250 --> 00:12:08.440
that is like the whole point. Like the whole dang

173
00:12:08.519 --> 00:12:11.250
point of Quick Before You Forget, which by the way,

174
00:12:11.299 --> 00:12:16.009
the description has meaning. Every single word, this is so

175
00:12:16.029 --> 00:12:17.750
cool because this is like the first time that I'm

176
00:12:17.769 --> 00:12:20.929
really diving into this. So Quick Before You Forget is

177
00:12:21.129 --> 00:12:24.750
a personal growth and development podcast aimed at helping you

178
00:12:24.850 --> 00:12:28.090
build your unreal life from the ground up using tools

179
00:12:28.250 --> 00:12:34.580
like music, mindset, and movement to remember who you are

180
00:12:35.269 --> 00:12:40.200
while you build who you're meant to be. Y'all, that's

181
00:12:40.220 --> 00:12:42.799
what I'm doing in real time. That's what I've been

182
00:12:42.840 --> 00:12:46.799
documenting this whole dang time. And you're here and you

183
00:12:46.820 --> 00:12:48.320
get to see it and you get to be with me.

184
00:12:48.399 --> 00:12:52.070
And that is the whole point of my story of

185
00:12:52.110 --> 00:12:54.529
the yellow brick road is that it's not meant to

186
00:12:54.570 --> 00:12:59.649
be experienced by yourself. It's not meant to be experienced

187
00:12:59.669 --> 00:13:03.669
by by yourself or alone or in the darkness. Nay,

188
00:13:03.990 --> 00:13:06.000
oh boy, oh no, I got carried away and hit

189
00:13:06.009 --> 00:13:08.720
the microphone. Nay, it is supposed to be experienced together.

190
00:13:08.740 --> 00:13:15.179
The people, the connection. Y'all, I have been talking about

191
00:13:15.240 --> 00:13:20.519
connection on the internet for years, for literally years. I

192
00:13:20.559 --> 00:13:23.669
have been talking about the importance of human connection and

193
00:13:23.730 --> 00:13:26.830
the role it plays in literally saving our lives in

194
00:13:26.889 --> 00:13:33.899
real time for years. And it's happening in these rollercoaster videos.

195
00:13:34.080 --> 00:13:36.570
I get DMs now every single day from people saying,

196
00:13:36.690 --> 00:13:41.149
thank you. This makes me feel seen. Thank you. Your

197
00:13:41.210 --> 00:13:47.049
videos are helping me process grief. Thank you. Your videos

198
00:13:47.090 --> 00:13:50.809
are such, I look forward to them every day. What?

199
00:13:52.809 --> 00:13:56.879
I get emotional because that is the point. So I

200
00:13:56.960 --> 00:14:00.529
realized something. When I was working on what became my

201
00:14:00.580 --> 00:14:03.320
last episode of season one of quick before you forget.

202
00:14:03.379 --> 00:14:07.080
And that was that I had been doing the safe thing.

203
00:14:08.519 --> 00:14:10.659
I had been doing the comfy cozy thing that I

204
00:14:10.779 --> 00:14:14.220
love to do, which is connecting with people and hearing

205
00:14:14.259 --> 00:14:17.799
their stories and honestly offering a place for them to

206
00:14:17.899 --> 00:14:22.200
share it. I have gotten so many compliments on how

207
00:14:22.279 --> 00:14:27.169
I can ask the real questions that A dear new

208
00:14:27.230 --> 00:14:31.269
friend of mine, Dr. Nikki Tobias, actually paid me the

209
00:14:31.309 --> 00:14:38.879
kindest compliment this week. She said, Ty sees souls. I mean,

210
00:14:38.929 --> 00:14:43.399
put that on my tombstone. But also, this part is,

211
00:14:43.620 --> 00:14:46.519
this is hard for me. It might not seem like

212
00:14:46.580 --> 00:14:49.019
it to you, but like this part, this like just

213
00:14:49.080 --> 00:14:53.429
talking to you part is scary for me. And that

214
00:14:53.470 --> 00:14:54.889
has a lot to do with a lot of different

215
00:14:54.909 --> 00:14:57.950
things that, I mean, honestly, some things that I can't

216
00:14:57.990 --> 00:15:02.840
even say out loud. But I had this era of

217
00:15:02.899 --> 00:15:08.820
my life that I shrank down to nothing. Literally. I

218
00:15:08.899 --> 00:15:14.990
shrank down to nothing. Because I was told to. Because

219
00:15:15.039 --> 00:15:18.769
I felt I wasn't enough. Like, why else do you

220
00:15:19.210 --> 00:15:22.570
drink so much on a daily basis if you, like...

221
00:15:23.559 --> 00:15:27.659
I didn't think I was enough. I didn't think I

222
00:15:27.740 --> 00:15:32.659
was worthy of sharing what I know now is a

223
00:15:32.759 --> 00:15:36.679
story that people can feel seen in, a story that

224
00:15:36.700 --> 00:15:41.139
people can hold onto and be part of. And like,

225
00:15:41.460 --> 00:15:45.070
that is the point that we can do it together,

226
00:15:45.769 --> 00:15:48.929
that we're meant to connect through these stories, through my

227
00:15:49.009 --> 00:15:57.559
guests' stories. but also and terrifyingly through my own. I

228
00:15:58.720 --> 00:16:04.360
am so grateful for the opportunity to share. And ironically,

229
00:16:04.399 --> 00:16:06.870
the last person that I had a conversation quite this

230
00:16:06.899 --> 00:16:13.450
deep with was indeed Chris Karaba. I talk about my

231
00:16:13.590 --> 00:16:16.629
unreal life. That's the kind of thing I mean. That

232
00:16:16.970 --> 00:16:23.799
and Dr. Tobias saying, Ty sees souls. Because I do.

233
00:16:23.980 --> 00:16:27.139
And it's a gift. And it's a blessing. And it's easy.

234
00:16:27.159 --> 00:16:30.610
And I realized that as I was preparing to film this,

235
00:16:31.350 --> 00:16:36.730
and I had like, I was like, who's going to

236
00:16:36.750 --> 00:16:47.419
want to listen to me? Who cares? Highest value, fewest words. No. No.

237
00:16:48.039 --> 00:16:50.639
I'm done with that shit. Sorry to cuss. Sorry to cuss.

238
00:16:50.720 --> 00:16:55.940
I do cuss sometimes. And I'm done being quiet. I'm

239
00:16:55.960 --> 00:17:01.629
done being small. I am done littling my light so

240
00:17:01.649 --> 00:17:05.210
that others feel better. No, no, no, no. We are

241
00:17:05.230 --> 00:17:07.690
done with that. Because I've learned this really cool thing

242
00:17:07.730 --> 00:17:11.200
that happens when I share is the light gets brighter sometimes.

243
00:17:12.230 --> 00:17:15.890
because it's catching in other people. Like literally I can,

244
00:17:16.170 --> 00:17:18.569
I can, I've seen it happen enough times now where

245
00:17:18.619 --> 00:17:22.960
I can see it catches my, my light is like

246
00:17:23.160 --> 00:17:26.940
lighting people's hearts from the inside out. And what a

247
00:17:27.019 --> 00:17:28.980
gift that is and what a blessing that is. And

248
00:17:29.059 --> 00:17:31.180
darn it, darn it, darn it. I need to share that.

249
00:17:32.000 --> 00:17:35.490
I need to share that. So welcome to season two

250
00:17:35.630 --> 00:17:38.309
of quick before you forget, which I'm going to call

251
00:17:38.410 --> 00:17:42.079
quick before I forget, which was, my original thought in

252
00:17:42.099 --> 00:17:44.220
the first place, which is kind of funny that how

253
00:17:44.240 --> 00:17:49.299
life works that way. But quick before I forget, thank you.

254
00:17:50.000 --> 00:17:52.180
First of all, thank you for being here, for listening,

255
00:17:52.240 --> 00:17:55.039
for sharing what I hope is your stories with me.

256
00:17:55.440 --> 00:17:58.400
I really want this to feel like a conversation. And

257
00:17:59.119 --> 00:18:01.940
when I had this idea to do this first solo episode,

258
00:18:02.049 --> 00:18:04.750
I got this, I made this post and I was like,

259
00:18:05.470 --> 00:18:08.859
ask me anything. Give me your questions. And I actually

260
00:18:08.900 --> 00:18:11.339
kind of thought I'd get 13 questions. Like if I had,

261
00:18:11.599 --> 00:18:13.359
I probably should have said it to somebody so that

262
00:18:13.380 --> 00:18:16.220
it don't sound cuckoo. I thought I'd get 13 questions

263
00:18:16.279 --> 00:18:19.019
because that's one of my numbers. We all have our numbers, right?

264
00:18:19.079 --> 00:18:22.400
And I am a Swifty. So yes, 13 is one

265
00:18:22.420 --> 00:18:27.069
of my numbers. So is 22. And would you believe,

266
00:18:27.609 --> 00:18:30.569
would you believe? I've asked every guest of Quick Before

267
00:18:30.609 --> 00:18:32.589
You Forget, what would you tell your 22-year-old self? And

268
00:18:32.630 --> 00:18:37.160
you know what? 22 questions is where we landed. And

269
00:18:37.220 --> 00:18:39.400
I am cutting it off a day early. I planned

270
00:18:39.440 --> 00:18:41.099
on taping this on a Sunday. I'm taping this on

271
00:18:41.140 --> 00:18:45.660
a Saturday. I'm taping this when like the Lord spoke

272
00:18:45.680 --> 00:18:49.029
to my heart. The Lord spoke to my heart. I'm

273
00:18:49.069 --> 00:18:51.529
taping this when the Lord spoke to my heart to

274
00:18:51.549 --> 00:18:55.670
tape it. Because that's what's happening through him, for him,

275
00:18:55.730 --> 00:18:58.930
with him. All of it is happening in real time.

276
00:18:58.970 --> 00:19:04.960
And those 22 questions, you guys, I was blown away

277
00:19:04.980 --> 00:19:09.339
because the 22 questions We're magical. And you know what

278
00:19:09.359 --> 00:19:12.900
my word is, right? My word for my values, my

279
00:19:12.940 --> 00:19:16.190
personal and professional values, which I do believe are aligned

280
00:19:16.390 --> 00:19:18.930
and are the same to me. They are not two

281
00:19:18.990 --> 00:19:22.849
separate things. Your personal values and your professional values should

282
00:19:22.890 --> 00:19:26.099
not be the same. They're two parts of your heart.

283
00:19:27.940 --> 00:19:32.430
And mine is magic. Magic. I got to unpack a

284
00:19:32.450 --> 00:19:34.599
lot of this in another episode. Holy crap, this is

285
00:19:34.640 --> 00:19:36.680
how people can talk this long because there's so much

286
00:19:36.700 --> 00:19:43.029
to unpack. The questions I got were so good. And

287
00:19:43.069 --> 00:19:46.250
I'm so grateful. And I realized that there's no way

288
00:19:46.289 --> 00:19:48.670
in heck I could go on and answer every single

289
00:19:48.670 --> 00:19:51.279
22 questions in this episode. Instead, I thought I'd lay

290
00:19:51.319 --> 00:19:54.740
us a foundation. I thought I'd say, hey, thank you

291
00:19:55.140 --> 00:19:57.150
for being here. Thank you for wanting to be part

292
00:19:57.170 --> 00:19:59.930
of this enough that you asked me 22 thoughtful and

293
00:20:00.210 --> 00:20:07.049
like impressively deep, emotionally charged questions. And I've actually, I

294
00:20:07.259 --> 00:20:10.049
don't know, I'm hoping and assuming that some of y'all

295
00:20:10.069 --> 00:20:12.450
that asked the questions are here watching with me right now.

296
00:20:12.490 --> 00:20:16.299
If you are, please say hi. I am hoping that

297
00:20:16.450 --> 00:20:19.980
because I've kind of tried to answer some of them indirectly.

298
00:20:21.119 --> 00:20:25.099
But I realized very quickly that I could not answer

299
00:20:25.119 --> 00:20:27.240
all 22 questions because that would be a lot of me.

300
00:20:28.190 --> 00:20:31.210
And you're already getting enough with what we're talking about here.

301
00:20:31.269 --> 00:20:33.230
So I thought instead of that, I will lay the

302
00:20:33.269 --> 00:20:36.349
foundation and set us up for what I hope is

303
00:20:36.430 --> 00:20:39.119
a really fun journey that y'all are excited and amped

304
00:20:39.150 --> 00:20:42.900
to be with me on. I have none of it

305
00:20:42.980 --> 00:20:47.059
figured out. There is no plan. There is no five-year plan.

306
00:20:47.079 --> 00:20:50.259
There's no 10-year plan. There is the Lord's plan. And

307
00:20:50.299 --> 00:20:53.359
it's happening. It's happening in real time. If you go

308
00:20:53.400 --> 00:20:55.900
back and look, and I'm like, this is actually legitimately

309
00:20:55.960 --> 00:21:00.000
like an ask. I struggle to make the ask, but

310
00:21:00.099 --> 00:21:04.519
also it's always a no unless you ask. That is

311
00:21:04.579 --> 00:21:06.680
one of many of my mantras. It's always a no

312
00:21:07.180 --> 00:21:10.609
unless you ask. It's also a mantra that has unlocked

313
00:21:11.049 --> 00:21:13.269
more magic in my life than I could possibly even,

314
00:21:13.289 --> 00:21:18.009
I can't even go into, honestly. It's a lot. It's

315
00:21:18.049 --> 00:21:19.630
always a no unless you ask. So I'm going to ask.

316
00:21:20.329 --> 00:21:24.970
Go look. Go find things. I have an Instagram that

317
00:21:25.009 --> 00:21:31.000
has 7,500 followers right now. Thanks mostly to the emo

318
00:21:31.039 --> 00:21:36.480
rollercoaster gal content. Thank you. I have 14 plus thousand

319
00:21:36.500 --> 00:21:41.059
followers on TikTok and that my friends who doggy, that

320
00:21:41.119 --> 00:21:44.779
is where I practiced how to speak to people. That's

321
00:21:44.819 --> 00:21:47.779
where I practice how to be brave on camera. That's

322
00:21:47.799 --> 00:21:50.779
where I practiced how to tell a story in a

323
00:21:50.819 --> 00:21:52.819
way that people actually want to listen to it. That's

324
00:21:52.839 --> 00:21:57.190
where I practiced how to Write my life out loud.

325
00:21:57.210 --> 00:22:00.970
I have manifested so many incredible things that if you

326
00:22:01.009 --> 00:22:02.970
go back, like if you see like this last year,

327
00:22:02.990 --> 00:22:05.730
like the last eight months, and then you go back,

328
00:22:06.029 --> 00:22:08.769
you can see that it wasn't just, it's nothing that

329
00:22:08.829 --> 00:22:12.829
happened overnight. It's something that I had been speaking into

330
00:22:12.890 --> 00:22:17.930
the world. I have been literally, well, correction, God has

331
00:22:17.950 --> 00:22:21.500
been writing my book out loud through my words out

332
00:22:21.599 --> 00:22:27.400
loud on the internet for like five years. So my homework,

333
00:22:28.049 --> 00:22:30.630
my homework, sorry to give you homework, but I think

334
00:22:30.670 --> 00:22:34.170
it's fun. I think it's fun. And if you don't,

335
00:22:34.210 --> 00:22:37.009
that's cool. You're not my people. I believe this will

336
00:22:37.029 --> 00:22:40.849
help me find my people. My homework is go look,

337
00:22:42.190 --> 00:22:46.349
go digging, go, just go to Instagram, go to TikTok.

338
00:22:46.509 --> 00:22:54.259
I'm also on Facebook. I'm on LinkedIn. And There's so

339
00:22:54.380 --> 00:22:57.259
much of the story. There's so much of the answers.

340
00:22:57.680 --> 00:23:00.460
This is like a full circle thing because the questions

341
00:23:00.500 --> 00:23:02.980
that you all asked me, a lot of those answers

342
00:23:03.049 --> 00:23:08.869
exist already in plain sight. They're there. And that's honestly

343
00:23:08.930 --> 00:23:12.109
unreal to me to even think about. But I will

344
00:23:12.190 --> 00:23:15.359
answer your questions. I will answer your questions. And today

345
00:23:15.380 --> 00:23:17.559
I'm going to answer one or two because I can't.

346
00:23:17.829 --> 00:23:20.690
put that out and say, I'll answer all your questions

347
00:23:20.849 --> 00:23:23.809
and then just not answer questions. I will be answering

348
00:23:23.849 --> 00:23:28.789
questions to be clear, but let's keep it going. Go,

349
00:23:29.049 --> 00:23:31.509
go find a photo, go find a video, go find

350
00:23:31.769 --> 00:23:34.450
like a, like a, oh my gosh, the playlists on TikTok.

351
00:23:36.829 --> 00:23:39.549
There's playlists on TikTok. If any of this sounds interesting

352
00:23:39.569 --> 00:23:41.029
to you, go check them out. We have like punk

353
00:23:41.069 --> 00:23:46.000
rock princess. Okay. That is a Andrew McMahon heavy playlist.

354
00:23:46.630 --> 00:23:51.359
Andrew McMahon is this guy up here and the literal thread,

355
00:23:51.759 --> 00:23:55.720
a literal thread in this entire story. So if you

356
00:23:55.759 --> 00:23:57.500
love Andrew McMahon, you're going to want to be on

357
00:23:57.519 --> 00:24:03.309
this ride with me, okay? Also, Swifties and Healing. Swifties

358
00:24:03.349 --> 00:24:06.789
and Healing is a thing that I created because I

359
00:24:06.849 --> 00:24:08.589
believe that maybe it could be the name of the

360
00:24:08.630 --> 00:24:12.009
Taylor Swift theme park someday. Just a thought. I'm speaking

361
00:24:12.049 --> 00:24:13.609
these things out loud because some of the things that

362
00:24:13.630 --> 00:24:18.200
I say out loud happen sometimes. Taylor Swift theme park

363
00:24:18.339 --> 00:24:20.079
named Swifties and Healing. I think that would be a

364
00:24:20.140 --> 00:24:23.160
beautiful thing. But there's a playlist called Swifties and Healing

365
00:24:23.220 --> 00:24:27.700
on TikTok, as well as Just Keep Swifting, which is

366
00:24:27.740 --> 00:24:32.720
another Taylor Swift, basically a Taylor Swift love playlist on TikTok.

367
00:24:32.819 --> 00:24:36.640
But there's so much. There's joy from the ground up. Again,

368
00:24:36.920 --> 00:24:41.240
the words from the ground up, which reminds me of

369
00:24:41.309 --> 00:24:44.390
a very important thing. You are my ground crew. If

370
00:24:44.410 --> 00:24:47.630
you're seeing this, if you've been watching this, can you

371
00:24:47.690 --> 00:24:50.769
please in the comments say, I am your ground crew.

372
00:24:51.430 --> 00:24:56.210
We are together in this and I am grateful. So

373
00:24:56.259 --> 00:24:57.839
if you're hearing this, please stop and say it because

374
00:24:57.880 --> 00:25:00.220
I want to say hi. I want to say thank you.

375
00:25:01.000 --> 00:25:04.119
So if you don't mind, I would love it if

376
00:25:04.160 --> 00:25:08.759
you say, I am team ground crew or something, because

377
00:25:09.619 --> 00:25:13.759
this is just the beginning. This is just the beginning.

378
00:25:14.440 --> 00:25:17.089
And I just got so excited. I was so nervous.

379
00:25:17.970 --> 00:25:21.910
I was feeling like I felt before, like when you

380
00:25:21.930 --> 00:25:25.250
wait in a line for a roller coaster. Oh, I

381
00:25:25.289 --> 00:25:26.690
just felt it. Like I felt it with my whole

382
00:25:26.730 --> 00:25:28.980
being and it made me swallow harder. When you're waiting

383
00:25:29.019 --> 00:25:30.799
in a line for a roller coaster or you're waiting

384
00:25:30.819 --> 00:25:34.680
in a line for a concert, okay? Waiting in lines

385
00:25:35.119 --> 00:25:38.059
is kind of a thing in my world. I have,

386
00:25:38.559 --> 00:25:41.430
I've been first in line for more things than the

387
00:25:41.529 --> 00:25:43.529
average human. I would, I don't, I mean, I have

388
00:25:43.549 --> 00:25:46.130
to do like a study to be sure, but I

389
00:25:46.170 --> 00:25:49.339
have been, I'm a first in line girly. All right.

390
00:25:49.539 --> 00:25:55.039
And the most magical conversations and connections have happened in

391
00:25:55.099 --> 00:25:57.339
those lines. And I can't wait to share all of

392
00:25:57.420 --> 00:26:01.940
it with you. And there was a point. The point

393
00:26:01.980 --> 00:26:06.730
was I was feeling that energy, the like butterflies in

394
00:26:06.750 --> 00:26:09.230
your stomach and heart racing. And I mean, the heart

395
00:26:09.269 --> 00:26:11.230
racing might have a little bit to do with the

396
00:26:11.269 --> 00:26:16.289
witch's brew in this cup. Cheers, by the way. Um,

397
00:26:16.910 --> 00:26:22.309
but also just, I recognized in real time that that

398
00:26:22.349 --> 00:26:28.309
was the essence of my emo rollercoaster gal. Everything is

399
00:26:28.349 --> 00:26:31.009
that I have practiced being brave in the sky so

400
00:26:31.930 --> 00:26:35.529
that I could be more brave on land. And This

401
00:26:35.710 --> 00:26:41.470
takes bravery. I was scared. And I converted because guess what, guys?

402
00:26:41.990 --> 00:26:45.289
Fear and excitement are the same chemically in your brain.

403
00:26:46.549 --> 00:26:49.859
I wish I'd known that sooner. That is something on

404
00:26:49.880 --> 00:26:53.299
the list of when I was in high school or college.

405
00:26:53.420 --> 00:26:56.599
And granted, I have, by the way, a master's degree

406
00:26:56.619 --> 00:27:01.220
in clinical psychology, bachelor's degree in psychology and communications. And

407
00:27:01.259 --> 00:27:03.720
for some reason, it took me until my late 30s

408
00:27:03.740 --> 00:27:10.029
to understand... maybe to just absorb the truth, which is

409
00:27:10.069 --> 00:27:12.430
that fear and excitement are the same chemically in your

410
00:27:12.470 --> 00:27:15.730
brain and you get to pick. That is so cool.

411
00:27:16.569 --> 00:27:19.400
So I was scared to come on here and talk

412
00:27:19.420 --> 00:27:22.539
like this. I was scared and I felt it with

413
00:27:22.579 --> 00:27:25.279
my whole body. And I did it. I did it anyway.

414
00:27:26.259 --> 00:27:29.980
I did the scary thing anyway. And I am having

415
00:27:30.039 --> 00:27:33.579
a blast. I'm having so much fun. So I'm going

416
00:27:33.599 --> 00:27:37.390
to get clear and focused on a couple questions because

417
00:27:37.430 --> 00:27:41.990
I promised I would. One of my friends, Tyrone, gave

418
00:27:42.069 --> 00:27:50.650
me the probably most long-winded question in as few words

419
00:27:50.730 --> 00:27:54.180
as possible, which was, how did you become the emo

420
00:27:54.220 --> 00:27:59.980
rollercoaster gal? I gotta give that one some more thought

421
00:28:00.339 --> 00:28:03.099
and I gotta pray on it some more. But I

422
00:28:03.299 --> 00:28:06.769
think that the last chunk of time that we just

423
00:28:06.809 --> 00:28:12.819
spent together, scratches the surface of answering that question. Because

424
00:28:12.880 --> 00:28:18.599
it's not about getting on a roller coaster. It's not

425
00:28:18.640 --> 00:28:22.500
about that. It's not about the roller coaster itself. It

426
00:28:22.559 --> 00:28:26.710
is about everything that the roller coaster has taught me

427
00:28:26.789 --> 00:28:34.740
about living a bigger life. It's about choosing to excitement

428
00:28:35.180 --> 00:28:38.900
over fear. It's about getting, feeling the fear and getting

429
00:28:39.000 --> 00:28:43.759
on the ride anyway. Because you know what happens? Like

430
00:28:44.660 --> 00:28:47.509
you have fun. You might not have the most fun

431
00:28:47.529 --> 00:28:49.150
the first time. I'm not going to lie to you.

432
00:28:49.529 --> 00:28:52.910
There are certain roller coasters that I choose not to

433
00:28:52.970 --> 00:28:56.150
ride now simply because I don't feel good after. And

434
00:28:56.589 --> 00:29:02.470
that's totally fine. But isn't that like life too? So

435
00:29:04.529 --> 00:29:06.990
I didn't ride my first roller coaster until I was

436
00:29:06.990 --> 00:29:10.369
37 years old. And I get that date kind of

437
00:29:10.390 --> 00:29:15.400
mixed up sometimes because I remember it vividly. That's one

438
00:29:15.440 --> 00:29:17.220
of those photos that if you go back and try

439
00:29:17.240 --> 00:29:19.839
to find it, you might see what I mean. I

440
00:29:20.599 --> 00:29:24.710
think I ascended. I think my soul left my body.

441
00:29:26.390 --> 00:29:28.130
And my eyes were closed. By the way, I've ridden

442
00:29:28.210 --> 00:29:34.119
most of the first probably... Three dozen times I rode

443
00:29:34.140 --> 00:29:37.069
a roller coaster, I had my eyes closed, which is

444
00:29:37.230 --> 00:29:40.390
also very prophetic and profound in ways. that we can

445
00:29:40.410 --> 00:29:47.329
get into later. But it's not about the roller coaster itself.

446
00:29:47.609 --> 00:29:52.849
It never was. It was about doing life better. And

447
00:29:52.990 --> 00:29:57.420
part of that includes doing life with the right people

448
00:29:58.819 --> 00:30:05.640
alongside you. Part of that is choosing to be brave

449
00:30:05.680 --> 00:30:09.789
when it doesn't make sense. Choosing to show up when

450
00:30:12.049 --> 00:30:15.950
everything tells you not to, but you just, you know

451
00:30:15.970 --> 00:30:24.289
that you're meant to. Sidebar, Alex Warren, Red Rocks. It's

452
00:30:24.329 --> 00:30:28.900
about so much more. And the most important part of

453
00:30:28.960 --> 00:30:34.230
that is that it's about you. It's your experience. It's

454
00:30:34.269 --> 00:30:37.490
how you live your life. It's how you choose to

455
00:30:37.529 --> 00:30:44.339
be courageous and curious and build yourself an unreal life.

456
00:30:44.700 --> 00:30:48.119
And I am just honored and grateful to be part

457
00:30:48.140 --> 00:30:51.259
of it with you. So for the second question, I

458
00:30:51.319 --> 00:30:54.559
do need to get more into that first question, I think, eventually.

459
00:30:55.099 --> 00:30:58.250
So we're bookmarking that for later. But for the second

460
00:30:58.289 --> 00:31:02.029
question that I'm picking, let's see who gave me this question.

461
00:31:03.299 --> 00:31:06.200
What do you hope people believe about themselves because they

462
00:31:06.240 --> 00:31:09.430
encountered your work? Who gave me that question? Let me

463
00:31:09.470 --> 00:31:13.210
look in real time. What do you hope people feel

464
00:31:13.890 --> 00:31:18.410
about themselves when they encounter your work? I want to

465
00:31:18.470 --> 00:31:21.890
call out whoever asked me that question. Let's see. The

466
00:31:21.950 --> 00:31:27.240
question came from my dear friend CW, Holly, who invited

467
00:31:27.279 --> 00:31:30.420
me on a stage recently and gave me a microphone.

468
00:31:32.990 --> 00:31:35.259
She invited me on a stage and gave me a

469
00:31:35.299 --> 00:31:38.539
microphone to moderate a panel at a really cool event

470
00:31:38.599 --> 00:31:41.900
called called goals night out in Atlanta, Georgia. And it

471
00:31:41.960 --> 00:31:47.339
was a dream come true in every way, including that

472
00:31:47.400 --> 00:31:54.599
it absolutely challenged my fear and excitement spiral. Okay. So

473
00:31:54.619 --> 00:31:58.599
I felt that fear so much for that last hour

474
00:31:58.680 --> 00:32:03.150
before I went on stage, I was shaking. whole body.

475
00:32:03.170 --> 00:32:05.859
I felt like if you looked at me, I felt

476
00:32:05.890 --> 00:32:08.640
like I was shaking like a leaf. Fortunately, everybody assured

477
00:32:08.680 --> 00:32:13.400
me I was fine. But I was nervous, nervous, nervous,

478
00:32:13.799 --> 00:32:19.720
big nervous. And then DJ Will Gill played a song,

479
00:32:21.039 --> 00:32:28.460
You Can't Stop This by Alex Warren. And it flipped

480
00:32:28.500 --> 00:32:34.730
the script. It took me from fear and nervousness to

481
00:32:34.789 --> 00:32:39.089
excitement so fast, so fast that there was no turn.

482
00:32:39.130 --> 00:32:42.789
There was no turning back after that. So that's the

483
00:32:42.829 --> 00:32:45.250
power of music, my friends, and we are scratching the

484
00:32:45.930 --> 00:32:50.329
surface there. But my dear friend CW Holly, who I'm

485
00:32:50.369 --> 00:32:54.990
so grateful for, asked me what I hope people encounter,

486
00:32:55.670 --> 00:32:58.359
what I hope people feel when they encounter my work.

487
00:33:00.579 --> 00:33:05.410
I hope they feel like anything is possible. I hope

488
00:33:05.490 --> 00:33:08.710
they feel like they too can build their unreal life

489
00:33:09.410 --> 00:33:13.750
from the ground up using their version of the tools

490
00:33:13.809 --> 00:33:16.980
that worked for me, which is music, mindset, and movement.

491
00:33:18.819 --> 00:33:22.779
I hope that they know that the things they say

492
00:33:22.900 --> 00:33:28.940
out loud matter. I hope they know they matter. I

493
00:33:29.009 --> 00:33:34.569
hope they know that their story matters. It matters to me.

494
00:33:35.089 --> 00:33:39.630
It matters to the people in your world. Your story matters.

495
00:33:41.539 --> 00:33:48.859
And probably most importantly, quick before you forget, I want

496
00:33:48.960 --> 00:33:53.740
you to remember who you are while you're building who

497
00:33:53.759 --> 00:33:57.730
you're meant to be. And if you choose to to

498
00:33:57.759 --> 00:34:00.119
be part of this journey with me, I want you

499
00:34:00.160 --> 00:34:03.579
to know that I am so deeply grateful for you

500
00:34:03.619 --> 00:34:07.700
being here, for you listening, for your comments on my posts,

501
00:34:07.940 --> 00:34:12.219
for your brief posts, for your shares, for your favorites,

502
00:34:12.739 --> 00:34:16.269
for your agreeing to go on this scavenger hunt journey

503
00:34:16.349 --> 00:34:22.349
that I'm taking us on. I am so, so grateful

504
00:34:23.210 --> 00:34:26.170
that you're choosing to spend the time with me because

505
00:34:26.190 --> 00:34:29.829
I'm I love and appreciate and have so much joy

506
00:34:29.849 --> 00:34:33.659
and gratitude that I get to enjoy this time with you.

507
00:34:36.480 --> 00:34:41.880
Till next time, friends. JK kidding. One more thing. I

508
00:34:41.920 --> 00:34:46.699
want to thank some brands because I do believe that

509
00:34:46.719 --> 00:34:51.659
I can and will partner with some brands to help

510
00:34:52.400 --> 00:34:56.860
keep this whole ride going. And there are some brands

511
00:34:56.920 --> 00:35:01.059
that have done amazing things to help inspire and empower

512
00:35:01.099 --> 00:35:06.940
me over the course of time, including Six Flags, Cedar Point,

513
00:35:07.039 --> 00:35:11.340
Great America specifically. I would love in some way to

514
00:35:11.380 --> 00:35:14.940
collaborate and partner with Six Flags. And I don't know

515
00:35:14.960 --> 00:35:16.699
what that looks like. I don't know how to make

516
00:35:16.739 --> 00:35:20.030
it happen, but I do believe that it's possible and

517
00:35:20.090 --> 00:35:24.750
that we could really do amazing things together. Also, I'm

518
00:35:24.829 --> 00:35:29.570
kind of powered by some things, including Spindrift, my most favorite,

519
00:35:29.650 --> 00:35:31.570
favorite sparkling water. I love it so much and I

520
00:35:31.590 --> 00:35:33.510
drink it all the time and I have for years.

521
00:35:34.670 --> 00:35:39.730
So sponsored, not sponsored by Spindrift, as well as Starbucks

522
00:35:40.309 --> 00:35:44.659
and Alani. And those are the liquids in my life

523
00:35:45.050 --> 00:35:48.119
now that I don't drink anymore. So I'm very grateful

524
00:35:48.179 --> 00:35:50.960
for those options as they are my favorite, favorite drinkies.

525
00:35:51.800 --> 00:35:54.219
And let's see. One other one that I want to

526
00:35:54.260 --> 00:35:57.980
shout out is Zeke's Village Market in Door County. You

527
00:35:58.039 --> 00:35:59.980
may or may not notice that I am wearing this

528
00:36:00.000 --> 00:36:02.539
beautiful shirt featuring cherries. Hold on, I wonder if I

529
00:36:02.579 --> 00:36:05.039
can stand up and... Can I stand up and show you?

530
00:36:05.059 --> 00:36:07.690
This is not going to work well for the people

531
00:36:08.110 --> 00:36:13.329
who are listening. There you go. Okay, we'll see. That's

532
00:36:13.369 --> 00:36:15.849
not the best ad for them, but I've done other

533
00:36:15.889 --> 00:36:18.610
work with and for them, and I hope to do

534
00:36:18.690 --> 00:36:20.510
even more exciting things with them in the future. So...

535
00:36:21.429 --> 00:36:25.710
Zeke's Village Market. I love y'all. And I can't wait

536
00:36:25.750 --> 00:36:28.380
to see where all this is going. Thank you, friends.

537
00:36:29.800 --> 00:36:30.360
See you next time.
