God handed me the microphone this week. And this is me going with the flow.

Two guest recordings moved. A solo episode took their place. And the question from Coach Doc waiting for me was one I’m still living my way through: What is your biggest fear, and how do you plan to overcome it?

My answer surprised me.

Past me was terrified of change. She needed things to go according to plan to feel safe. Present me is learning to trust the next step without knowing where it leads. And future me? I’m afraid I’ll run out of money before the work I feel called to do is done.

Following last week’s conversation with Nick Nanton about the stories we believe about our past, present, and future, I’m exploring another possibility: time is happening FOR us, too. Sometimes it’s redirection. Sometimes it’s “not now.” But God does not miss.

In this solo episode of Quick Before I Forget, we’re talking about faith in uncertain times, giving our past selves grace, choosing excitement while we’re still afraid, and the people who help us keep going. I’m also sharing why Swifties in Healing means so much to me and inviting you to help shape what comes next. I haven’t solved the fear. This is me taking the next step anyway.

💬 What would you love Swifties in Healing to become? Meetups, journals, coaching, something else? Tell me what would help you most.

01 God does not miss. Sometimes it's redirection. Sometimes it's not now. But God does not miss. God does not miss. Sometimes it's redirection. Sometimes it's not now, but God does not miss.

48 That has been the thread that has tied through the last several episodes of Quick Before You Forget, which as a reminder is a personal growth and development podcast aimed at helping you build your unreal life from the ground up using tools like music, mindset, and movement to remember who you are while you build who you're meant to be. That is what I am doing in real time, and it involves this theory of time. A couple weeks ago, I posted a video called Patient Zero, where I broke down my past, present, and future, because one of my dear friends and guest number one and 11 on this podcast, Dr.

31 Antonio Harrison, known affectionately as Coach Doc, challenged me to think about if my past self, present self, and future self were in a room, what would they say to each other? And that was a very deep, thoughtful, mental game that I played with myself to figure out how that would work and what it would look like. And I ended up processing that greatly through Taylor Swift's new song, Patient Zero. If you know, you know. I might actually make like a little playlist for this episode because I I should probably just start doing that because my playlists in a day are indicative. I soundtrack my life. I don't know if you guys know what I mean, but I have been a soundtrack early my whole life, and I might just include these songs. So Patient Zero was an episode a couple weeks ago where I broke down my past, my present, and my future. Then Nick Nanton.

24 The one and only Nick Nanton came on the show. He's a 24-time Emmy Award-winning singer. documentarian, producer, musician, songwriter, and just amazing abundant human. He comes on the show the following week and talks about how the most important thing is the stories we tell ourselves about our past, our present, and our future. And how life is happening for us, not to us. So that got me to thinking a lot more about this concept of time. And I don't know if you've noticed, but time has been a thread all year for me. I have been studying it. I have been leaning into it. I have been growing and learning and being part and with it. Time is the word of 2026 for me. And I was joking with a friend last night about spelling it T-Y-M-E because I'm kind of goofy like that. So I was thinking about how this element of time has played into patient zero and then into Nick's message to me, which was essentially the thing that matters most is the stories we tell ourselves about our past, our present, and our future.

36 And that got me just kind of opened my heart, like opened my mind, opened my heart. And this week, I know we talked about it once before, but this week felt like the, the, the moment in Harry Potter where all the letters start coming in all at the same time. And they all kind of, I think they all said the same thing, which was God does not miss. So the big question, you know, we're, we're working through, I asked on my Instagram a couple of months ago at this point, I asked, my friends to please ask me some questions to answer on this show. And at the time I thought, gee, I'm going to answer all of those questions in one episode. And then I realized, no, slow down. Speaking of time, slow down. You're not meant to answer all these in one episode. They're all too big.

25 They're all too thoughtful. They're too important to try to brush through. So I took a couple, one at a time, and I'm taking, I'm slowing down. That's another song reference for the playlist today, which is Max McNown, Slow Down. I slowed down enough to pay attention to the signs. And there have been signs. So the question that I pulled at the end of the last episode was, last solo episode, I should say, the big question for today is, what is my biggest fear and how do I plan on overcoming it? What is my biggest fear and how do I plan on overcoming it? And the big answer, the big answer loops right back to our friend Nick Nanton from last week when he said that his friend and mentor Dan Sullivan had this theory that your danger happens when your purpose runs out before your money. So I'm here in this place right now where my purpose is in my heart and in my soul, and it is lighting me up from the inside. I can feel that I am doing the thing that I am meant to do. I can feel it with every part, every part of my being. I can feel it. So I am afraid my biggest fear. The big answer to the big question is I am afraid that I will run out of money before the work is done. because I feel called. I feel like this is my purpose. And

57 I am not financially sustained in any way by any of this right now. And I am trusting the process anyway, because I have, like, I've been finding messages from others, from you, thank you, but also from myself. This week was a big week. I had a TikTok come up from Like I've taken y'all with me more than you even know on this journey, by the way, like I have decided, I decided years ago that this story, that the story that I'm living in, the story that's being created, the, the, the testimony that's happening and, and being built in real time is meant to help other people. That's why I've been showing up and sharing every little step along the way, because I believe that there's power in this story that can inspire and empower other people. Including me, as it turns out, because I got a message from my past self on the, on the TikTok clock this week. And that message was God does not miss. I was processing last year around this time. I was processing grief from the loss of my friend, Karis, who died in a fire with her dad, her sister, two of her other sister's kids and her daughter. on June 30th of 2024.

17 And that's the date that I say started the fire in my heart, started the fire in my soul. That's the same day that I submitted my chapter for the best-selling book, Triumphs of Transformation, by the way, and the day that I kind of jokingly, not so jokingly, say that the emo rollercoaster gal was born. She was born on June 30th of 2024 when my friend Karis died. And as I was working through this grief, honest to goodness, last year at this time, I was Thinking through how God works in our life and how God does not miss. He knows what he's doing and everything has a reason. Everything has a purpose. And that gets back to the whole idea about time and how time is happening for us, not to us, just like life is. So full circle for me this week was getting a message from my past self. God does not miss. And it was apparent to me in so many ways this week that I can't even get into. But if you're curious, you can go look at my social media because there's different things on there that are kind of elaborate on a few of the different things and tease a lot of things too, because I'm not telling you the whole story in real time.

29 I am telling certain people the real story in real time and Thank you to the... There's a handful of... I'll call us like the OG Swifties in healing who know more of what's going on behind the scenes. And they are kind of like this amazing group of abundant people that I talk with on a daily kind of throughout the day basis who are seeing in real time. I'll give you an example. This week there was a day with a lot of sevens. And I believe that that was... encouraging me to pay closer attention. Like I already pay pretty close attention, but that was encouraging me to pay even closer attention to what God might be trying to tell me that day. And it was true.

15 There's something that will come from that day. That's going to be big and going to be life-changing. And it's, it's not even actually like it all kind of real yet, but I believe, I believe that then I'm reading my notes today because I actually hand wrote an outline for this episode. Usually I type it and today I hand wrote it. So I'm looking down a little bit more than usual because I'm looking at my notes because I am forgetful. I can acknowledge and have the self-awareness around my forgetfulness and my ability to tangent off and not get back to where I was going. So Where I was going with that was I do have a small group of friends of us that I call Swifties in Healing OG Ground Crew. These are some of the words that we've used. And you should be one, by the way.

02 So if you want to or have interest in being part of the Swifties in Healing, please say so in the comments so that I know and can start to use that to inform my next steps. Because what surprised me most about my introspection about this question of my biggest fear. What surprised me most is how different it is from what it was before. How different it is from when it, when I, when I was the past version of me who, by the way, by the way, I was terrified of change, hated uncertainty. Like I was craving solid ground predictability. I was a lover of tradition.

48 I held tight to things like we should. And, you know, as I was processing all this out loud in the patient zero episode, I realized that like, I really do need to give her some grace and some compassion because she needed things to go according to plan to feel safe. Like time again, time has helped me understand that she needed things to be a certain way to feel safe. Now in the present, there is no plan. There's never a plan. I think people might see my life and like, honestly, they don't, it looks cuckoo. It looks cuckoo because kind of, it is sometimes like we decide, like I just decided today I'm taping this. This is unusual for me, by the way. I, speaking of plans, not going like you think I had two episodes of the podcast ready to tape this week, one with a friend who we will meet with and talk with next week instead. And another with another friend who accompanied me and got a hug from Mel Robbins with me in April. And that's like a whole long story. And again, a lot of this stuff lives on the internet already if you want to go look for it. But my friend who I did not know, my friend who I drove in my car five hours one way to Minneapolis to eventually and inevitably get a hug from Mel Robbins. That friend is coming

18 on the podcast. I'm so excited because she is such a cool and interesting human. And she's like, why would you want to even talk to me? I want to talk to you because you have a crazy story. We drove five hours in the car and she told me a lot of her life story, which was fascinating by the way. And then we got to the Mall of America and we were getting out of the car and she's like, oh, by the way, I wrote a book with Jack Black's mom What she wrote. So she's coming on the show next week. Instead, we're going to do it next week, but here I am taping an episode very close to when I'm dropping the episode tomorrow and going with the flow, going with the, like there was no, that those two, we had very good conversations about that didn't pertain to the podcast and we will tape eventually.

10 And I'm taping the solo instead. And I just decided five minutes ago, literally right before I started taping this, I got a message from a friend who I taped the Wrath of Rakshasa commercial with back in May of 2025. That's another date in my life that honestly changed my life. May 23rd of 2025, the day that I rode Wrath of Rakshasa 22 times in one day. Yes, you heard me right. 22 times. In one day, I rode the world record-breaking roller coaster called Wrath of Rakshasa at Six Flags Great America in Gurney, Illinois, with a group of other incredible roller coaster people, including this friend who I met and spent that day with and haven't seen since then.

59 And I have been nervous. I've been nervous because... I don't want to go too deep into it, but the accident and tragedy that happened with Hassan at the Goliath ride at Six Flags Over Georgia on Monday of this past week was horrific and traumatizing and scary. Makes me nervous. Like I am the thing that y'all, I think, I think The world might perceive me as somebody that's no longer afraid of heights and roller coasters, but I am very afraid. Every time I get on those things, I am scared. I am just choosing to be excited instead.

39 I'm choosing to put my arms up. I'm choosing to enjoy the ride instead of fearing it. And I'm scared today. I was not going to go. I was thinking maybe I won't go to Six Flags today because I was kind of sort of planning on it, but also Hassan. And then I got a text message from my friend who I haven't seen since May 23rd of 2025. And she happens to be in the area. And she said, are you at Six Flags today? And I said, you know what? I'm not yet, but I'm going to be. I will be there. We are going to go and we're going to ride and it's going to be awesome. And I'm so excited. And it's helping me work through the nervousness because of somebody that's riding with me. It's helping me decide to choose excitement over fear because somebody is riding with with me, who I care about, who I love, who I respect and who I have inspired.

31 She actually told me that because of my work, she has started posting like because of my posts, because of what I'm doing, she is posting on Instagram and TikTok more. And how cool is that? Like that is, that is the point because now there is no plan. I go with the flow and what's for you won't miss you. So the present is very much anchored in the people. The present is very much anchored in all of the people. It started today just now with Bella. What was I going to say her name? I don't know if I was going to say her name, but it started with Bella today. And it made me think more about how people are forming the time that is right now, how people are encouraging me to take the next step, how people are the thread that And it's not about me.

26 It's about you. So I am going to share a story that happened this week also that involved a Swifties and Healing OG ground crew member from Australia, who is also coming on the podcast, by the way. Emma, shout out Emma. I'm so excited for her to come on the podcast. She booked a flight. She saw some of my rollercoaster content and she booked a flight to go to her nearest theme park. to ride a roller coaster because of my content. And in doing so, we've become dear, dear friends. She's like my transatlantic friend who shared with me something this, and she's been in my head lately.

08 I told her this week, you've been in my head lately. And I'm so grateful because she says this thing that I have interpreted. She uses different words that I'm going to forget. But my interpretation of those words is what's for you won't miss you. What's for you won't miss you. God does not miss. So what's for you won't miss you has helped me ease up a little bit. It's helped me realize that the past version of me that clung so, so strongly and so like holding on for dear life to should and tradition and predictability, that I can actually go with the flow because what's for me won't miss me. And I had an opportunity to share that message. And this is where I get confirmation in present time that I am on the right path. This is where I see the signs and I listen and I lean in because I'm listening to the Lord tell me this is what I'm meant to do. My friend in Australia sends me, we have this whole conversation about How What's For You Won't Miss You. And again, Slow Down, Max McNown, another song. Slow Down has been in my head lately because I feel like I'm spinning. Spinning, another song by Andrew McMahon. But I feel like I'm spinning, so I'm trying to slow down and I'm trying to remember that What's For Me Won't Miss Me. And my

40 dear friend Ivy had a huge setback this week. After my conversation with Emma in Australia, Ivy had a huge setback this week and it's health related, so I'm not going to share the details, but Ivy is devastated about this setback. She is heartbroken and rightfully so. It is heartbreaking. And I had the opportunity to talk with her and share with her these thoughts that my friend Emma had. reminded me of, which is what's for me won't miss me. What's for her won't miss her. So cue the future.

23 How do I make this into something that's financially sustainable? How do I make this? And again, with going with the flow and not really having a plan and just showing up for the next step. I'm doing it by listening and paying attention to the signs and the signs are pointing me to the people and the people are pointing me to the messages. Example, Nick Nanton with Dan Sullivan. In our last episode, Nick Nanton referenced Dan Sullivan's danger. We talked about at the beginning, the danger of running out of purpose before you run out of money. Now I have gotten all of the signs that I am on the right path and my purpose is we're on lock.

06 We are on lock. With the purpose, the purpose and God and I are talking all day. Every day we are talking. I don't need to go to church. I should, but I don't need to go to church because church lives here. Church is in my heart. God and I are talking all day, every day. And I see the signs. I actually see so many signs that, that are literally pointing me in the right direction. Example, rainbows. I said, I said, I've, there's a long story that I'm not going to go into right now. And I will, if you want to hear it, let me know in the comments, say, what's the rainbow story? Because there's, there's a whole, there's a lot there to unpack. But I said this week that I'm going to start sharing the rainbows that I see, whether they're rainbows that are sent to me or they're rainbows that I see on the internet or like whatever it is, I'm going to start sharing them because we could all use more hope and more color in our day.

04 As far as I, as far as I see it. So more hope, more color, more rainbows. So I say that, and I got like several rainbows sent to me, including one that happened for us in, in our area. Like I had a friend that saw this really cool double rainbow that happened for us on Thursday night. And the timing was not an accident. The timing is never an accident because God does not miss. So I see it in the rainbows. I see it in the numbers. I had a very, very heavy day of sevens this week. We talked about it. That's the day that, and something big did happen that day that I'm going to share eventually.

45 I know why. I know why I'm doing this. I have the purpose on lock. What I'm actively working on now is how. And based on everything we just talked about and how time is happening for us, not to us, I am recognizing that the thread and the reason and the how happens with you. You are the how. The people behind the views. You know, I haven't talked about it a ton, but we are at like 10 million views on Instagram in the last 90 days. 10, it might actually be more than that. I haven't checked today, but 10 million people have ridden roller coasters. Well, or at least seen my content, right? Like, I don't know if they've watched the roller coaster content or if they've resonated with other different parts of my content, but 10 million people is not a small number. There's proof here that something's working, something's resonating. And I see it in the comments. You guys, I see it. We go back to patient zero and watch for the screenshot of, 10 different messages in one day that I got from people cheering me on from other countries, legitimately saying that my content is helping them in all kinds of ways that don't make any sense to me, but they make perfect sense to you. And that's why I need your help.

09 Because we've talked through the past. We've talked through the present. And now it's time to think about the future. And the future is the people behind the views. The future is how do all these different pieces fit together? I have a friend, a dear, dear friend who I started sending this meme to because I recognize that this episode. is just a preview by the way. This is, this is me on the daily all day, every day, basically living the skit that Taylor did with like the red strings. Like if you remember, like there was a guy and I don't remember his name, but the guy from always sunny in Philadelphia with like the red strings behind him, that's me all day, every day playing with these pieces, figuring out how they go together, figuring out how they thread together and so much of it threads together. The world is such a smaller place than I could have ever thought, first of all, but also it's so cool to see how these different connections happen and how and why they're happening for a reason. I'm actively leaning in for a reason because God does not miss. So how do we proceed? How do we go? Like how does momentum breeds momentum, right? Like these, these lessons that I learned from the guests that come on this show, are helping me help you in real time. Brian Davis said

39 that one. He said, momentum breeds momentum. All these guests, I don't just talk with them one time either, by the way. You should probably be aware. I don't talk with these guests one time. These guests become people in my life. They're parts of my story. For the most part, I'm actually legitimately friendly with them. And if I wasn't friendly with them before we talked, we are friendly now. Another case in point there is Terrence Sullivan and Ellen Baker, who were on an episode a couple weeks ago. So like three, four weeks episode back. That episode is called Believe in Your Magic. Thank you for your magic. Like, this is very real. I'm processing all of this in real time as, you know, we talk about music, mindset, and movement. Music plus mindset plus movement is magic. And it's contagious and it's possible for you to feel and to process and to build your life with this magic.

42 That's what's on my soul. That's what I need to help with. That's how I can get this message to you so that you can do it because you can like, yes, you can. Yes, you can. Yes, you can. So I feel so like wholeheartedly about this, that I have decided that how we proceed is there's two things. First of all, I keep going. I don't know the, I don't know the path. I don't know the plan. There is, there literally is no plan. There is God's plan. So I keep going. I keep showing up. I keep walking in faith and those bricks keep showing up. as they do on this yellow brick road. And I am recognizing more and more and more and more how this yellow brick road would not be the same without the people who are walking it with me. So I keep going on the yellow brick road and I ask you for help.

48 I ask you for help, not to be clear, to go back to the little bit of hate that I got a asking for money. I'm asking for help. There's a difference. And the help that I'm asking for is a little bit, there's multiple parts, but the two biggest areas of help that I need is top host. By the way, we made it to the top 20. We made it to the top 20 of top host, which is Ryan Seacrest's contest. I hate calling it a contest, but that's what it is. It's Ryan Seacrest's contest slash fundraiser for his Ryan Seacrest Foundation. And it is kind of like American Idol for podcasting. And I am in the top 20 in my group. I'm currently in second place as of today. And I'm so, so grateful because none of that would be possible without you. None of that would be possible without your voting. You can vote daily for free or you can donate to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and every dollar counts as a vote. I don't love that part because I don't like asking for any kind of monetary donations to count as a vote.

09 But I do love the cause. So if you are so inclined, go vote. You can vote for free every day. You can donate if you want. But That's one area that you can help. Second thing is tell me what you'd like to see. If you're here, you've been with me for almost a half hour. Thank you. Tell me what you want. Tell me what you'd like. Tell me what you want more of. Tell me how I can help you because I know I can. I know I can. And I almost feel like it's like literally my job to help you. So do you want journals, meetups, courses, one-on-one coaching, group coaching? I am open. I am ready.

04 I want to do what will be most beneficial and most impactful for you. So tell me, like, what does Swifties in Healing look like to you? Because Swifties in Healing is a very real thing. I have been talking about Swifties and healing on the internet since 2023. A lot of people don't know that or, you know, realize that, but this is not something new for me. I have been talking about it in my comment sections on these videos recently, but I have been, this has been an idea, a dream that I've had for literally years. Because I know how music has helped me heal. Music, mindset, and movement have helped me heal enough to build my unreal life from the ground up. And that's where I know that Swifties in Healing is located. at least a significant part of the future. So what do you want it to look like? How do you want it to present?

06 What service or what product? Merch? Like that's another idea. I love me some merch, like a lot. Most of my wardrobe is merch, by the way. It's kind of a problem, but it's not because I find that merch connects us in ways and we go in public then and we see our people and then we can connect with people in public and it's beautiful and I love that. So maybe it's merch. I don't know, but Whatever it is, I am here to remind us that all we have is time. And God does not miss. Thank you, Nick Nanton, for giving me something so visceral and real to think on with that line about how the real danger is running out of purpose before you run out of money.

52 My biggest fear is running out of money before the work is done. So I want to serve in a way that's sustainable and I need your help to do that because I haven't solved the fear. I haven't, I haven't solved the fear on the roller coasters. I still am afraid on roller coasters, especially, especially right now. But this is me taking the next step. This is me taking the next step to find my way home and hopefully theoretically to help you find your way home. We need to draw a new question. It's time. It's time for our next question for next time. This one from Joseph.

43 Joseph wants to know, I'm a creator that wants to connect deeply with my followers just like you do, which is one of the many reasons I follow and support you. Thank you, Joseph. I appreciate you. I also like your name. I trusted Joseph always. Is that part of your thought process and how do you do it? So we're going to, we're going to dig into that because that feels like the perfect lead in to talk more about Swifties and healing, hopefully with your comments, with your feedback. And while you are thinking about this episode, I want you to think about a time when something didn't go right and how you handled it and how you wish you'd handled it. I want you to give yourself some grace because those things are going to happen and you I think it's more about what you learned from that situation that matters.

30 And for me, a lot of the things that haven't gone according to plan have been literally reminding me to look up. They've literally been reminding me that I am not in charge. God's in charge. And aren't we so grateful for that truth? Because I mess up a lot, but he never does. God does not mess up. And I will see you next time on Quick Before You Forget. That was so much fun. Thank you for investing your time, energy, and thought into spending some time with me today. I really appreciate you. And I really appreciate when you talk back.

12 So please, if you're here still, thank you so much. Please tell me what you thought. Tell me what other questions you have. Tell me how this episode affected you and how it resonated with you and all of the things. Tell me all the things in the comments. And please know that I'm reading every single comment, responding to every single comment, and I appreciate you. Thank you for being here with me today. Please also like, share, subscribe.
